Networth Support
Help with the Networth app for iPhone and iPad
Networth is a private net worth tracker for the UK. You add your accounts, keep their balances up to date, and the app shows what you own, what you owe, what is actually available to you, and how it is all changing over time. There are no logins, no bank connections, and no server of ours holding your figures.
Email networth@dkcreative.uk and describe what happened, including which screen you were on. Please do not include account numbers or balances in your email. We aim to respond within a few days.
Where is my data stored?
On your device and, if you have iCloud switched on, in your own private iCloud database. We run no account system and cannot see your data. See the privacy policy.
Does Networth connect to my bank?
No. You update balances yourself, by typing them in, pasting them from your banking app, or scanning a screenshot of it. Scanning happens entirely on your device, and you see the figure before it is saved.
Why does my other device not show the same figures?
Both devices need to be signed into the same Apple Account, with iCloud switched on for Networth. Changes reach the other device when it is next online, and opening Networth there fetches them. If syncing has stopped, the home screen says so and what to do about it.
What does “Available” mean?
Cash and investments you could sell this week. It deliberately leaves out pensions, Lifetime ISAs, Junior ISAs, employee share schemes and property, because you cannot spend those on Tuesday.
How is the mortgage figure worked out?
If you give the app your current interest rate (not the APRC) and your monthly payment, it projects the outstanding balance month by month so you do not have to look it up. You can always overwrite the projection with the real figure from your lender.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Data → Reset all data removes every account, balance, snapshot, goal and event from the device and from your iCloud database.
